Manchester United is pleased to announce the signing of England international full-back Luke Shaw from Southampton on a four-year contract, with an option for a further year.
The 18-year-old made 67 appearances for the Saints since his debut in 2012 and becomes the Reds' second new recruit this summer following the arrival of Ander Herrera.
"I am thrilled and excited to be joining Manchester United," said Shaw. "I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life and to learning from the world-class players and management at the club."
